The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls
Built on a cliff overlooking Kulaniapia Falls, the Inn offers a range of accommodations for adventurous guests who appreciate all the comforts of home. All guest rooms are individually furnished, with private bathrooms, and accommodate 2 guests. Some rooms accommodate 3 guests with a roll-away / sofa bed.
The Inn also offers two suites, one of which accommodate up to 4 guests. The Pagoda Guest House has the best view of the falls, and a full kitchen and room for up to 4 guests. The Residence Suite is over 1200 sq ft, and when not being used as the owner’s personal residence, is shared with our guests.
We strongly recommend staying two or more nights. If you can only stay one night, we recommend arriving by 3PM, and booking dinner and other experiences in advance.

Guests who stay in our cabins are welcome to join for breakfast at The Inn for a small additional charge.

Kulaniapia Farms
Next door to the Inn is Kulaniapia Farms, where we grow food to support our community, and provide an educational experience for our guests. The Farm provides a limited number of ocean view cabins, with hot showers, shared bathrooms, and access to a 2000 square foot commons with a full kitchen and sweeping views of Maunakea and Hilo Bay, shared with our friendly staff.
Farm fresh eggs are provided when available, and additional produce is available for purchase.
Access to Kulaniapia Falls is included, and breakfast is available at The Inn, overlooking the falls, for $19/guest/day. CHECK-IN TIME is 3-6PM, with late arrivals possible until 8pm with advance notice.
Kulaniapia Falls is surrounded by 42 acres of private land, and hundreds more of conservation land across the river.
